Depression is real especially in our community.
The House Mother of Bridges, Michelle Williams snatched our heart strings Tuesday after announcing that she had checked into a mental health facility because she’s battling depression.

Now let’s be real, Michelle Williams has been the butt of decades of ‘Poor Michelle’ jokes, constant online lesser comparisons to her band mates Beyoncé Giselle and Kelendria. I will be the first to admit, I’ve made my share of Auntie Michelle jokes in the past and I can’t help but to feel guilty that we, the internets played a part in Michelle’s situation.
Now we don’t know what going on inside, Michelle Williams’ head and depression is a monster I fight everyday. We chipped away at her online image and self esteem and that can’t be easy.
Michelle Williams been getting clowned on for a decade, we not gone act like that didn’t play a part in her depression

Everyone who has bitten into a chunk of Michelle Williams self esteem can't even confidently name just a handful of wilfully problematic things she's done to warrant this torrent of abuse spanning decades. Congratulations to us all, bullies extraordinaire.

Let’s take this as a lesson of online bullying. If you don’t have anything nice to say or if ain’t rooted in love, don’t put it out there. Especially if it’s something your doing for a trend of for clicks. Michelle has our apologies and our fake online sympathy but we have to take responsibility for the consequences of our words.
Prayers up for Michelle Williams.
God got you Queen.
Black people as a whole we never talk about mebral health issue. We pray about it and sweep it under the rug. I’m proud of Michelle Williams for speaking out
